１．Position

One opening for associate professor, lecturer, or assistant professor

２．Description

In addition to teaching the following courses, successful candidates will assist with duties related to the department.

（1）Duties：Teaching, contribution to society, and administrative duties

（2）Courses：Candidates will teach from among the following courses:

Courses for Pharmaceutical Sciences	Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Seminar, and/or Practical Training
General Courses	Freshman Seminar and Fundamental Chemistry
Supplementary Courses	Remedial education: Chemistry, Physics, and/or Math (high school level)
Graduate Courses	To be considered upon hiring.

（3）Scheduled start date：April 1, 2025

３．Requirements

1. Ph.D. degree at the time of appointment
2. Pharmacist license preferred
3. Outstanding educational and research achievements in the field of Chemistry
4. Willingness and enthusiasm in pharmacy education and national exam preparation
   *Teaching experience in other universities and/or educational/medical institutions preferred
5. A person of exceptional character, insight, and cooperativeness
6. A person who can live in Sasebo City or nearby after employment
7. Any nationality, providing that Japanese level is sufficient

７．Selection process

Applicants who have passed the initial screening will be contacted by December 6. For the second stage, applicants are required to attend an interview and conduct a 15-minute demonstration lesson, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session, at the school.
